T.A.B. invites creators, innovators, and artists to participate in a design sprint on October 16-17 in Karlskrona. Join us to collaborate on five cutting-edge briefs that blend art and emerging technologies. This event is an opportunity to work alongside leading professionals, learn about the latest innovations, and contribute to groundbreaking projects. Participants will also attend the Carl Film Forum from October 14, providing a broader networking platform and more opportunities to connect with industry leaders.
Briefs:
1. Blurring the Lines: Realistic Human & CGI Character Interactions
Design how CGI and human characters can interact believably in a live-action setting. Focus on developing emotional, realistic interactions between a young girl and her CGI robot companion in a science-fiction series supported by MMC Studios and with interest from Disney+.

2. Making it BIG: The Roop
Collaborate with internationally recognized pop band The Roop to create genre-defying music. Push the boundaries of electro-pop and explore new sounds and technologies to reach a global audience.

3. Cerebral Algorithm: Sci-Fi Film Concept
A detective with early-onset Alzheimer’s uses AI to solve a series of murders targeting neuroscientists. This sci-fi thriller explores neurotechnology, AI, and human consciousness, raising profound ethical questions.

What to Expect:
You will participate in a two-day design sprint, a fast-paced, structured process that helps teams solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions in a short time. The sprint will involve brainstorming, prototyping, and testing ideas with feedback from industry experts and creators of the briefs.
You’ll collaborate with professionals from various fields, including video, music, and immersive technology, and work alongside facilitators experienced in guiding teams through this creative process. Throughout the sprint, you'll also have opportunities to work directly with the creators of the briefs, tapping into their expertise and vision.

Who Can Apply:
This design sprint is open to residents of Denmark, Poland, Germany, Sweden, and Lithuania. We are looking for:
- Creative professionals: Musicians, filmmakers, game designers, artists, and technologists eager to explore new platforms and ideas.
- Tech specialists: Developers, VFX artists, AI specialists, CGI experts, and other technologists passionate about blending technology and art.
- Industry experts: Individuals with experience in music production, film production, or digital media, who are ready to contribute their knowledge to the briefs.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and professionals or artists working in the fields of technology, film, music, or digital media. As this project is funded by the European Union, participants must be available to collaborate within the South Baltic Region. The event requires a commitment to contribute to potential outcomes, including public presentations or exhibitions.
