We are currently seeking cross-sectoral experts to form a dynamic Cross-Border Expert Group for the TAB project. This group will play a key role in supporting SMEs selected for acceleration. The focus will be on helping them leverage digital innovation, cross-border collaboration, and new business models. As an expert, you will support some of the most passionate, creative individuals—representatives of SMEs who are driven to explore cross-border business opportunities in the South Baltic Sea region. You will also gain excellent networking opportunities across Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Lithuania, and Germany, allowing you to expand your international network while contributing to this impactful project. The Cross-Border Expert Group will consist of at least one and at most three experts from each partner country. This ensures that the group remains multidisciplinary while representing a range of perspectives from the participating countries. About the TAB Project: The Tech, Art &amp; Business (TAB) project, co-funded by the European Union's Interreg South Baltic program, is a platform designed to accelerate digital innovation in sectors like film, media, gaming, and other creative industries. TAB explores emerging technologies, such as VR, AI, XR, and innovative business models, to support the digital transformation of SMEs. Twice a year, the TAB project team organizes upskilling courses that focus on developing both soft and hard skills, incorporating a creative sprint as an element of experiential learning. The expert group will have the opportunity to provide advice to the TAB team on which skills to highlight in these courses and suggest external speakers and project briefs. The first sprint was organized in Cannes in the spring of 2024, and upcoming sprints will take place in Karlskrona (autumn 2024), Vilnius (spring 2025), Berlin (autumn 2025), and Copenhagen (spring 2026).The experts will be encouraged to be on-site during these upskilling courses, and TAB will cover travel and accommodation expenses in the hosting countries.What We Are Looking For: ● Sector Expertise: We seek professionals with deep knowledge in technology, creative industries, business acceleration, or cross-sectoral collaboration. Your background might include film, media, gaming, VR, AI, XR, creative leadership, or innovation, among other fields. ● International Perspective: Experts must be based in one of the 5 TAB partner countries (Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Lithuania, or Germany) and bring diverse viewpoints to the acceleration process. ● Cross-Sectoral Team: We are forming a multidisciplinary expert group, combining knowledge from different sectors to provide holistic support to SMEs. Key Responsibilities: ● Provide mentorship and guidance to selected SMEs as they undergo the acceleration process. ● Offer advice to the TAB team on skills development for future upskilling courses and suggest external speakers and briefs. ● Contribute to knowledge transfer by helping SMEs explore international markets. ● Collaborate with other experts in cross-border workshops, events, and training programs. Join us to collaborate on five cutting-edge briefs that blend art and emerging technologies. This event is an opportunity to work alongside leading professionals, learn about the latest innovations, and contribute to groundbreaking projects. Participants will also attend the Carl Film Forum from October 14, providing a broader networking platform and more opportunities to connect with industry leaders.Briefs: 1. Blurring the Lines: Realistic Human &amp; CGI Character Interactions Design how CGI and human characters can interact believably in a live-action setting. Focus on developing emotional, realistic interactions between a young girl and her CGI robot companion in a science-fiction series supported by MMC Studios and with interest from Disney+. Making it BIG: The Roop Collaborate with internationally recognized pop band The Roop to create genre-defying music. Cerebral Algorithm: Sci-Fi Film Concept A detective with early-onset Alzheimer’s uses AI to solve a series of murders targeting neuroscientists. This sci-fi thriller explores neurotechnology, AI, and human consciousness, raising profound ethical questions. Why You Should Consider This Project: Join a project that combines thrilling storytelling with cutting-edge technology, offering strong market potential and visually striking design.What to Expect: You will participate in a two-day design sprint, a fast-paced, structured process that helps teams solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions in a short time. The sprint will involve brainstorming, prototyping, and testing ideas with feedback from industry experts and creators of the briefs.You’ll collaborate with professionals from various fields, including video, music, and immersive technology, and work alongside facilitators experienced in guiding teams through this creative process. These took place in Wolin, our associated partner city, and in Szczecin. During these sessions, ideas and challenges were gathered in a "ConcernBox". We then mapped these onto the European Green Deal turntable/radar for the South Baltic Area (activity 2.2). Participants drew inspiration from the region's shared history - the era of Pagans, Slavs, and Vikings. They explored these ancient cultures' intuition, connection to nature, and respect for elements like water, earth, and fire, seeking lessons for today."This theme aligns perfectly with the identity of Rietavas, our project partner. The outcomes will also reach Lithuania, and the insights gained in Poland will shape activities in Sweden and Germany." The purpose of the day was to meet and prepare for 2025, when TAB will host an event during the Skärgårdsfest in Karlskrona. The project took into account the growing interest of children in culinary experiences and the trend of interactive learning in the kitchen. The key goal was to introduce interactive elements that stimulate curiosity and help in better knowledge retention. The team aimed to expand children's palates and their understanding of cultural diversity through spice education. The project sought to create unforgettable educational experiences that could inspire children to explore and experiment in the kitchen. Interactive elements, attractive graphics, and practical activities were utilized to enable children to apply their knowledge in real contexts, such as cooking or creating spice blends. The team also ensured that the content was age-appropriate, understandable, and visually appealing.
