Open Call for Jury Members – SEDA Sustainable Entrepreneurship Design Award, Wismar 03–05 July 2026

The SEDA – Sustainable Entrepreneurship Design Award is looking for committed professionals to join its international jury. If you are an expert in design, sustainability, business development or entrepreneurship based in Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Lithuania or Germany, we invite you to play a key role in identifying and supporting the next generation of changemakers.

What is SEDA?

SEDA is an international design award that connects citizen dialogue, creative practice and entrepreneurial thinking. It addresses young designers, start-up founders, and creative entrepreneurs developing products, services, or processes that combine ecological, social, and economic sustainability — with a clear connection to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030).

The award is organized by the European Project Center and the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design, within the framework of the TAB: Tech, Arts & Business project. The final exhibition and award ceremony will be part of the 20th anniversary edition of the DIA – Design, Interior Design and Architecture Exhibition in Wismar.

Your Role as Jury Member

As a jury member, you will contribute your professional expertise to the evaluation of submissions based on:

 Level of innovation
 Feasibility
 Market potential
 Sustainability impact

The jury process includes two phases: an online preselection in May 2026 and an on-site evaluation during the DIA Exhibition Opening Day in Wismar the 3rd of July 2026, where the award will be handed over in person to the winning participant.

Who Can Apply?

This call is open to professionals based in Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Lithuania or Germany with expertise in design, sustainability, entrepreneurship or business development.

Timeline:

 15 May 2026 – Deadline to register as jury member
 29 May 2026 – Online preselection by the jury
 30 June 2026 – Final exhibition submissions (1 m² stand)
 03–05 July 2026 – Exhibition and Award Ceremony in Wismar

Available for you is

A budget of €1,000 to cover your travel and accommodation expenses for attending the award ceremony in Wismar.
