Partnership meeting in Copenhagen - 24-25 October 2024
Our partnership meeting behind us!
On 24-25 October 2024, our project partnership meeting took place in Copenhagen. The meeting was organised in the context of the project's one-year implementation, to discuss the project activities so far, to harmonise the work in the different work packages (WPs), and to reinforce the project values.
The objectives of this meeting:
- To bring clarity to all work packages (WPs),
- Ensuring partners are in agreement on the key indicators they are working on,
- Providing each project partner with a clear understanding of the aims and objectives of the TAB project.
On the first day, we met at the beautiful Talent Garden Campus. The partners focused on defining the objectives and timelines of each WP and discussing together the value foundations of the TAB project.
In the second part of the meeting, we discussed about on the possibilities of the application process for Horizon funding.
There were also joint integration activities, which enabled the partners to get to know each other even better and strengthen their cooperation.
The second day of meetings included visits to innovation and creative institutions in Copenhagen.
At Digital Hub Denmark, the partners learnt about opportunities to work with Danish technology companies and how to attract international talent to Denmark.
They offer tailored matchmaking services to connect international stakeholders with opportunities to collaborate, procure or support Danish Gov Tech.
They then visited Innovation Centre Denmark, which connects Danish companies to global innovation ecosystems and supports technology research and development. ICD is a partnership between the Ministry of Higher Education and Science and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, based in Copenhagen.
At Creative Denmark, partners learned about Danish initiatives that promote creativity and innovative solutions to global challenges. It is a non-profit public-private partnership organisation that builds awareness of Danish creative strongholds internationally.
Finally, participants took a tour of the Talent Garden Copenhagen Campus, the award-winning centre of the technology community in Denmark. Talent Garden is home to more than 350 entrepreneurs driving digital innovation and serves as the Scandinavian headquarters of the Talent Garden network. The company, a TAB project partner, not only hosts the technology community, but also runs educational initiatives in collaboration with Hyper Island and hosts numerous corporate events.
Our meeting in Copenhagen was precious, both in terms of content and organization. We gained valuable knowledge about local innovation ecosystems through visits to innovative institutions. Integrative activities, including a tour of the Talent Garden campus and a TAB project partner, strengthened our collaboration and shared vision for the project.
