T.A.B project at the Music.Design.Form Festival 2024 in Poland
T.A.B Project Showcased at the Music.Design.Form Festival 2024.
At the beginning of October, our Polish Partners participated in the Music.Design.Form Festival 2024, which took place at the Philharmonic Hall in Szczecin. The Media Dizajn Association, IT Cluster and Academy of Art in Szczecin actively participated in the event, presenting the effects of the TAB project activities. As partners of the festival they organized the exhibition ‘Echoes of Self: Illusions in Heritage’ and the debate ‘Art of the Future’.
The exhibition ‘Echoes of Self Illusions in Heritage’.
On the festival's opening day, visitors had the opportunity to experience a fascinating exhibition in the form of the ‘Echoes of Self: Illusions in Heritage’ exhibition. The installation resulted from our international collaboration initiated during the Hot Summer Digital Art and Design Academy - Citizen Dialogue workshop in Warsaw in June. The theme of the work was the fusion of digital art and artificial intelligence.
More than 400 people visited the exhibition, highlighting the growing interest in integrating technology and art. We were delighted to present the results developed during the summer workshops inspired by the history of the Baltic region and the city of Wolin.
Inspiring debate ‘The Art of the Future’
The second event during the ongoing festival was the ‘Art of the Future’ discussion meeting co-organized by the T.A.B project partners, which became a platform for exchanging experiences on the impact of artificial intelligence on contemporary art and creativity.
The panelists, including the participation of Monika Klein from the Media Dizajn Association and the representative of the IT Cluster, our project external expert Piotr Krężel, together with representatives from various industries and backgrounds, shared their insights on the benefits of integrating art with technology, and challenges that may accompany this process. The debate was a platform for exchanging knowledge, experiences and views, and an important part of the MDF 2024 festival programme.
Shared success and future prospects
Working on the project, we see huge potential for integrating art and technology. With the development of new technologies, the creative and cultural industries are evolving in unpredictable ways. That is why we support initiatives combining innovation with culture and creating new creative possibilities.
One of the objectives of our project is to increase the interaction between technological progress and cultural heritage in the South Baltic region. We are delighted to see so much interest in our activities and believe that the cross-sectoral cooperation supported by the T.A.B project will contribute to the further development of the South Baltic regions. We would like to thank everyone who co-created this unique event!
Organizers: Media Dizajn Association, Academy of Art in Szczecin, ICT Cluster West Pomerania, Wolin Municipality, and Berlin School of Business & Innovation (BSBI).
