Work Package 2: Citizen Dialogue
This initiative is pivotal in advancing our project's aim to enhance interaction between technological advancements and cultural heritage across the South Baltic region.
Leader: Hochschule Wismar,HSW
Co-Leader: Media Dizajn
Objective of WP2:
The goal of WP2, Citizen Dialogue, is to facilitate an innovative exchange between citizens and various stakeholders by leveraging the Creative Industries as mediators. This work package seeks to explore how digitalization can be intertwined with our cultural heritage to create more engaged and informed public spaces.
Final Outcome:
The ultimate result of WP2 will be the establishment of new communication channels and platforms where technology, art, and business intersect to engage the public actively. These platforms will serve as hubs for exchanging ideas, fostering cultural appreciation, and enhancing public participation in regional development.
Here’s What to Expect: Throughout WP2, we will:
- Conduct research and design experiences that connect digital innovations with cultural narratives.
- Implement pilot projects in public spaces across three cities, transforming these areas into active zones of cultural dialogue and digital interaction.
- Facilitate workshops and events that encourage citizen participation and input into the evolving phygital (physical + digital) landscape.
End Product:
By the end of WP2, we aim to have a scalable model for Citizen Dialogue that can be replicated across the South Baltic region and potentially beyond. This model will include tools and strategies for continuous engagement of the public in the innovation process, ensuring that the evolving digital landscape complements the cultural fabric of our communities.
